Our Mission

The Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization that creates environmental justice leadership opportunities for young adults and engages diverse residents of all ages in hands-on ecological restoration, and beautification projects.

We are building a culture of inclusion, action, and stewardship while we help lift up the voices, priorities and initiative of underserved neighborhoods.

Our mission is to :

  • Plant hope, beauty and resiliency in collaboration with diverse local groups and individuals.

  • Plan, protect, restore, and enhance parks, trees, community  gardens, trails and watersheds.

  • Help ensure that all residents have equitable, easy access to safe and healthy greenspaces.

“Thank you for offering me this great opportunity and for mentoring me. I have learned skills that I am extremely grateful for and have already been able to put to use.”
